Basketball Game Preview: Twiggs County Cobras vs. Randolph-Clay Red Devils

Two dominant guards in Daniel Pitts and Jaleen Gibson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Twiggs County Cobras will take on the Randolph-Clay Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Twiggs County lost 74-48 to Wilkinson County on Thursday. The Cobras haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Randolph-Clay waltzed into their match on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 56-48.

Randolph-Clay's win came from a few key players Twiggs County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jes'Us Daniels, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 16 points and five boards. What's more, he also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Tyrion Smith was another key player, putting up 15 points and six rebounds.

Randolph-Clay's victory bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Twiggs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.
