Basketball Recap: Lee Christian Piles Up the Points Against Bradford Academy

Lee Christian entered their tilt with Bradford Academy on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bradford Academy Archers, posting an 80-38 victory. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Archers are ranked 653rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lee Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Justin Brown out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Brown also posted five blocks, which is notable because Lee Christian is 15-4 when he posts at least five blocks, but 1-3 otherwise. Daniel Rumbold was another key player, dropping a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and 12 assists.

Lee Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Lee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Bradford Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
