Baseball Recap: Billerica Memorial Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Billerica Memorial's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to the Plymouth North Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Billerica Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Plymouth North, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Billerica Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plymouth North, they will take on Westwood on Saturday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
