Baseball Recap: McKinney Takes a Loss

McKinney lost against Plano last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McKinney Lions came up short against the Plano Wildcats, falling 18-4. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McKinney saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandt Hodges, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

McKinney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Plano, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, McKinney and Plano will both be playing Allen the next time they take the field. Plano will head out to face Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while McKinney will host them at 1:00 p.m. on March 22nd.
