Baseball Game Preview: Audubon Wheelers vs. Logan-Magnolia Panthers

The Audubon Wheelers are taking a road trip to take on the Logan-Magnolia Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Audubon is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Audubon beat Riverside 9-5.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Logan-Magnolia duked it out with Treynor on Tuesday. The Panthers never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Logan-Magnolia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Audubon, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-9.

Audubon suffered a grim 21-6 defeat to Logan-Magnolia when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Wheelers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
