Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hackley). They put the hurt on the Hopkins Hilltoppers with a sharp 36-12 victory on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Hilltoppers: they've now won three in a row.

Hackley's record now sits at 4-0. As for Hopkins, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hackley will square off against rival Fieldston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hornets 9, the Eagles 11) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hopkins is set to challenge their familiar foe King at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
