Baseball Recap: Revere Takes a Loss

Revere fell victim to Lynn English and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (1-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Domenic Bellia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lynn English, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Revere will head out to face off against Northeast Metro RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynn English, they will venture away from home to challenge Somerville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
