Lisle waltzed into their match on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Everything went their way against the Reed-Custer Comets as they made off with a 5-2 victory. Considering Lisle have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jordan Rodriguez * and Ally Doering * scored all five of Lisle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 38 goals.

Lisle's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Reed-Custer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Lisle will take on ACERO Garcia at 10:00 a.m. on the 17th. As for Reed-Custer, they have already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Morris on the 9th.
