Monsignor Pace has gone a perfect 3-0 against Sunset recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Monsignor Pace Spartans will welcome the Sunset Knights at 6:00 p.m. Monsignor Pace will be strutting in after a victory while Sunset will be coming in after a defeat.

Monsignor Pace took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over Southridge. Monsignor Pace hasn't had any issues with Southridge recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kyle Fernandes tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jonathan Vazquez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Yuniel Paredes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Sunset came up short against Somerset Academy on Saturday, falling 9-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sunset now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Monsignor Pace, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Monsignor Pace skirted past Sunset 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Monsignor Pace have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sunset turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
