Basketball Recap: Hettinger/Scranton Comes Up Short

Hettinger/Scranton and Garrison squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Hettinger/Scranton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Garrison Troopers by a score of 48-45. That's two games in a row now that the Black Devils have lost by exactly three points.

This is the second loss in a row for Hettinger/Scranton and nudges their season record down to 15-9. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only three points. As for Garrison, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Hettinger/Scranton nor Garrison have any future games scheduled.
