Basketball Recap: Red Level Comes Up Short

Red Level was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Elba Tigers and fell 69-8. While losing is never fun, Red Level can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 449th, while Elba is ranked 150th).

Red Level's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Elba, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Red Level won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brantley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elba, they and Georgiana will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
