Baseball Recap: New Holstein Comes Up Short

New Holstein's last matchup with Cedar Grove-Belgium could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Huskies came up short against the Rockets, falling 9-2. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

New Holstein saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Ziebell, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

New Holstein now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

New Holstein didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 victory against Brillion on the 22nd. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-2 win against St. Mary's Springs on the 23rd.
