Volleyball Recap: Floyd Falls to Elida in First Game of Season

Floyd had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Elida Tigers, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

Floyd took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-13.

Floyd will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Jon at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Elida, they will take on Springer in a tournament on Saturday.
