Volleyball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Corona lost against Santiago back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Sharks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-16.

Corona has been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season. As for Santiago, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corona is set to face off against their familiar foe Centennial at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Santiago will take on rival King at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
