Basketball Recap: Thomasville Find Success

Thomasville hadn't done well against North Davidson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Thomasville Bulldogs came out on top against the North Davidson Black Knights by a score of 54-44. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Black Knights back in December of 2024, they had to take a 61-56 loss.

North Davidson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryan Forrest, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Hege, who scored 11 points.

Thomasville's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for North Davidson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

When Thomasville and North Davidson next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Thomasville will take on Salisbury and their 12-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, North Davidson will try to stop Ledford's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
