Baseball Recap: Rockford Auburn Knights vs. Belvidere Bucs
Rockford Auburn had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 3-14 to make it four. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Belvidere Bucs. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Bucs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Walter Povalitis was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamar Reedy, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run.
