The St. Mary's Rams will square off against the Tracy Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
St. Mary's is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Lodi on Wednesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flames. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Flames recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ava Arucan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, St. Mary's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Tracy had already won 16 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 17 on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Trojans an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Elisa Galli's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks.
On the hitting side, Emalee Cargill was incredible, firing off four runs, four doubles, and one stolen base while going 4-for-4. Those four doubles gave her a new career-high. Taylor Sansaver was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Tracy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln only posted a batting average of .211.
Tracy's victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. St. Mary's has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tracy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
St. Mary's might still be hurting after the 19-1 loss they got from Tracy in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Rams have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
