After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Episcopal School of Dallas, Shelton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Covenant Knights. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Chargers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Shelton's win bumped their record up to 3-7-2. As for Covenant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on All Saints Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Covenant, they are taking a road trip to take on Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
