Maize got a great performance from Quincy Kohen as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Kohen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Parker Meirowsky was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 12 matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Short, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
