Davis hadn't done well against West Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rams. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Davis' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Valley, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Davis and West Valley will both be playing Wenatchee the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
