Softball Recap: Mendon Unity Comes Up Short

Mendon Unity lost against Barry Western back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mendon Unity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Spilker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Spilker has brought in this season.

Mendon Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Barry Western, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Mendon Unity will head out on the road to face off against Bushnell-Prairie City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barry Western, they will square off against Rushville-Industry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
