Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Farmington). They blew past the Athens Red Hawks 38-14 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Red Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Athens lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Andrew Dunlap, who rushed for 46 yards and one score, and also threw for 146 yards and one touchdown. Athens' leading receiver Nathan Piggott was Dunlap's top target yet again, picking up 88 receiving yards and one TD.

Farmington's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Athens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
