Whittell is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against enCompass Academy. The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Explorers 59-22. The Warriors pushed the score to 52-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Explorers had no chance of recovering from.

Whittell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matyas Dragoun led the charge by dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Lezama-Demazo, who went 8-for-14 en route to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Coral Academy of Science - Reno beat Mammoth 49-45 on Tuesday.
