Volleyball Recap: UMS-Wright Prep Triumphs

After losing to Lawrence County the last time they met, UMS-Wright Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Lawrence County still got an impressive performance from Reagan Smith, who had nine digs and one assist.

UMS-Wright Prep's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Lawrence County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-18.

Coming up, UMS-Wright Prep will head out on the road to take on Elberta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winston County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
