Recap: Shamrock Irish vs. Memphis Cyclones
The Shamrock Irish's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 56-30 loss at the hands of Memphis. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Shamrock has suffered against Memphis since December 9, 2017.
Memphis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Martin out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Robison, who scored 16 points.
Shamrock has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Memphis, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
Shamrock will head out on the road to face off against Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wellington will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. As for Memphis, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Quanah at 8:00 p.m.
