Football Recap: Stockbridge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Leslie + How To Watch

Stockbridge had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 44-22 to the Leslie Blackhawks. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Blackhawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Joel Cranmore was nothing short of spectacular for Leslie: he threw for 308 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 71 yards and one score. That's the most passing yards Cranmore has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Braydin Johnson, who picked up 146 receiving yards and three TDs.

Coming up, Stockbridge will face off against Centreville at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Leslie, they will challenge Addison at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
