There's no place like home for Burns, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lakeview Honkers on Friday as they made off with a 14-4 victory. Considering the Hilanders have won six games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Burns is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Lakeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Burns will take on Baker/Powder Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.44 runs per game on average), something the Hilanders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brookings-Harbor at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
