Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Comes Up Short

Monte Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Granada Matadors. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Matadors when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Monte Vista's record is now 0-3. As for Granada, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Monte Vista will venture away from home to face off against Foothill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granada, they will welcome San Ramon Valley at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. This will be San Ramon Valley's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
