Soccer Recap: Juab Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedar, Juab was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Payson Lions 1-0. Jaciel Palmeros had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Juab.

Juab moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Payson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Juab and Payson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wasps will square off against rival Richfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Payson is set to face off against their familiar foe Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
