Softball Recap: Izard County Comes Up Short

Izard County fell victim to Bald Knob and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Bulldogs. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Izard County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bald Knob, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Izard County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Mt. Vernon-Enola on the 14th. As for Bald Knob, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-4 victory against West Side on the 14th.
