 Roxboro Community had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by  a  12-2 margin over the East Bladen Eagles on Friday. Roxboro Community might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
  Carver Pleasant made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and only one walk). Pleasant was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Blake Vernon was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  James (Jd) Clayton was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 On East Bladen's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lee Barnes, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Roxboro Community's win was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 14-3. As for East Bladen, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.
 Roxboro Community will challenge Wilson Prep on Tuesday. Wilson Prep will roll in looking for their  21st straight  victory, something Roxboro Community surely won't give up without a fight. East Bladen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
