Basketball Recap: Banning Comes Up Short

Banning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triumph Charter Jaguars.

Antonio Garcia III continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Triumph Charter, putting up 23 points. Juan Guerra was another key player, posting 13 points.

Banning now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Triumph Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Banning will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Downtown Magnets at 9:00 a.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Triumph Charter, they and Gertz-Ressler will face off at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played.
