McLane won the last time they faced Sanger West and things went their way on Monday too. The McLane Highlanders blew past the Sanger West Hornets, posting a 62-33 win. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

McLane's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Demetrius Simon, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Simon has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Keyvon Burcher was another key player, going 8 of 18 on his way to 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

McLane smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive matches.

McLane is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Sanger West, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-4.

McLane will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Pitman at 4:00 p.m. Pitman will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something McLane surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sanger West, they will challenge Tulare Western at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
