Cypress Bay was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against South Broward on Thursday. Everything went the Cypress Bay Lightning's way against the South Broward Bulldogs as the Cypress Bay Lightning made off with an 18-7 win. The Lightning haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Cypress Bay's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for South Broward, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Cypress Bay will challenge West Broward at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Broward, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against Hollywood Hills on the 14th.
