Basketball Game Preview: Toutle Lake Ducks vs. Hoquiam Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Toutle Lake Ducks will take on the Hoquiam Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Toutle Lake is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Wednesday, Toutle Lake got the win against Black Hills by a conclusive 64-43. The Ducks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Toutle Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendal Dean, who went 12-for-19 on her way to 28 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lainey Dean, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards.

Toutle Lake was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Black Hills only racked up seven.

Meanwhile, Hoquiam made easy work of Aberdeen on Thursday and carried off a 54-29 victory. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Toutle Lake's record is now 4-0. As for Hoquiam, their record now sits at 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Toutle Lake against Hoquiam when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 67-19 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ducks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
