Basketball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity, Bishop McDevitt was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Boiling Springs Bubblers by a score of 58-50. The victory continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Bubblers: they've now won five in a row.

It was another big night for Kenyon Portee, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 30 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Those 30 points gave him a new career-high. Tommy Jones was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Boiling Springs lost, don't look at Ethan Yenser. Despite the final result, he posted 23 points. The game was Yenser's third in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Mandell, who earned 12 points.
