Football Recap: Make It Ten in a Row for Booker + How To Watch

Booker had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Mulberry Panthers to the tune of 75-0 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Tornadoes, who have now won six matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Joel Morris was his usual excellent self, throwing for 242 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Dylan Wester was Morris' top target, picking up 121 receiving yards and three scores.

Booker was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 353 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Booker didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jordan Booker and Karaijus Hayes. Hayes got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory (which was Booker's tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for Mulberry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Booker will challenge Bayshore at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Bruins will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. Mulberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
