Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shades Valley). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-15 win over the Center Point Eagles. Given the Mounties' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Eagles are ranked 427th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Shades Valley pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Center Point, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shades Valley will challenge Paul W. Bryant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Center Point, they will venture away from home to challenge Tarrant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Center Point is facing Tarrant at the right time seeing as Tarrant is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
