Glades played without four key players who, according to the Palm Beach Post, were suspended in connection with an alleged sexual incident on campus.
The newspaper
published a story Thursday that police confirmed an investigation into an alleged sex crime. Glades Central High officials acknowledged that four players were suspended on Nov. 14 in connection with the incident that involved a 14-year-old girl, who was also suspended.
Before Friday's game,
a group of students protested the suspensions and held up signs that read "Justice is not served."
