Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last matchup, Mt. Zion made sure to put some goals up on the board against North Clayton on Friday. They never let the North Clayton Eagles get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. It was an even better day for Jaylin Burgos-Guzman as she scored four goals for her team.

The victory got Mt. Zion back to even at 1-1. As for North Clayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Mt. Zion and North Clayton will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the pitch. Mt. Zion will host Riverdale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while North Clayton will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
