Volleyball Recap: ED White Falls Despite Big Games from Skylah Pryce and Lylian Curtis

The ED White Commanders didn't have quite enough to beat the Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Commanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

ED White actually scored more points across those five sets (114-110), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 17-25, 31-29, 25-23, 22-25, 15-12.

ED White's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lylian Curtis, who had 15 digs and nine assists, and Skylah Pryce, who had 14 digs.

ED White's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, ED White will head out to take on Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Andrew Jackson on the 3rd.
