Basketball Game Preview: Brookland-Cayce Bearcats vs. Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles

The Brookland-Cayce Bearcats will square off against the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookland-Cayce has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 30.

On Tuesday, Brookland-Cayce didn't have quite enough to beat Midland Valley and fell 39-36.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 60 points the game before, Gray Collegiate Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a hard 42-24 fall against North Augusta. The game marked the War Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brookland-Cayce's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Brookland-Cayce was taken down by Gray Collegiate Academy 67-27 in their previous meeting on January 7th. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Brookland-Cayce was down 33-9.
