Bayside has gone a perfect 8-0 against Green Run recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Marlins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stallions at 5:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bayside and four for Green Run.

Bayside fell victim to First Colonial and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Bayside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while First Colonial are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Green Run also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 12-0 to Landstown on Tuesday.

Green Run's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Bayside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Bayside took their victory against Green Run in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Marlins repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
