After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freeport, Bay was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Walton Braves with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-8, 25-17.
Izzy McGinity paced Bay's offense, picking up 11 kills. McGinity got some help from Makayla Storevik and her 18 assists. Storevik was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
Bay has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Walton, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18.
