Cole Ward leads a balanced attack to beat Altamont

The Tintic Miners had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Altamont by a score of 56-49 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Tintic, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tintic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Ward out in front who scored 20 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Haygen Jameson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Tintic now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Altamont, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
Tintic will take on the Rebels at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Altamont, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.
