Softball Recap: Jay Royals vs. Northview Chiefs
Jay waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the Northview Chiefs 5-3. This was a revenge game for the Royals: when they faced off against the Chiefs two weeks ago, they had to take a 9-5 defeat.
Layna Lowry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks.
