Harford Tech hadn't done well against North Harford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cobras never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cobras have posted since April 29, 2024.

The result came thanks to CJ Scism's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Harford Tech is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise.
