Volleyball Recap: Smithson Valley Comes Up Short

The Smithson Valley Rangers came up short against the Jordan Warriors on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Emma Feomaia paced Smithson Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Feomaia really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten.

Smithson Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. As for Jordan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Smithson Valley and Jordan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Rangers (ranked 115th) will meet Medina Valley (ranked 471st) at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jordan will take on Mayde Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (161 vs. 638).
