            For the second straight game, Harker will face off against Jefferson. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Grizzlies  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The timing is sure in Harker's favor as the  team sits on three straight wins at home while Jefferson has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Harker had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Jefferson on Tuesday. The Eagles never let the Grizzlies get on the board and left with  a   7-0  victory. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
The result came thanks to  Vidwat Shekar's shutout, as he gave up just three  hits and racked up seven Ks.

 On the hitting side,  Mason Brooks was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. He is becoming a predictor of Harker's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 6-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Austin Zhao, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Harker is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-19.
