Volleyball Recap: Fairfax Lions vs. South Lakes Seahawks
Fairfax lost against South Lakes back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Seahawks. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-11.
Keira McManus produced another solid effort getting 14 digs and six assists for South Lakes. McManus is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for South Lakes, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Looking ahead, Fairfax will head out on the road to square off against Alexandria City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Lakes, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Chantilly at 7:15 p.m.
